Become a Phlebotomist!
As part of our commitment to meeting the growing health care needs in our community, Golden Age Healthcare Training has expanded our curriculum to include Patient Care Tech at the Fayeteville campus.
Program Details:
The program duration is 16 weeks and covers training in the following areas: CNA, Phlebotomy, EKG, Medical Terminology and Medical Laws and Ethics. You can expect to receive:
- Classroom instruction
- Hands-on clinical training
- Small class environment
- One-on-one instruction
Day class breakdown
12 weeks in the classroom and lab 4 weeks in a hands-on extern site
Program Requirements:
- High school transcript or GED transcript
- Valid Social Security Card
- Valid State ID
- Negative TB test results within 1 year
Your Tuition Includes:
- Textbook
- Workbook
- State Testing Candidate Handbook
- State Approved RN/LPN Adult Education Instructors
- Classroom/Clinical Instruction in a simulated lab
- Equipment & supplies for Classroom use & Skills practice
- Practice for the State Exam in our lab (Done between peers)
- Student Insurance
- National Criminal Background Check
- State Testing Video
- ACLS CPR Training
Not Included in Tuition:
- Basic classroom supplies (pen, pencils, paper, etc.)
- 3 certifications tests to take through GA Impact (PCT, EKG, Phlebotomy)
- White shoes with closed toe & back (must be leather or pleather)
- Blood Pressure Cuff & Stethoscope (for individual use & home use.) These are supplied for classroom/skill use.
- Scrubs (color- Purple for females, Black for males)
- Lab coat
Payment Information:
- $100 non refundable application fee
- $500 due first day of class
- $260 due every week
